Unarmed Black Man Attacked by Police Dog Despite Surrendering

A Black man in Ohio was mauled by a police dog during a traffic stop after surrendering with his hands raised. The man, Jadarrius Rose, was pursued by authorities for driving a semi-tractor trailer without a rear mud flap. Despite exiting the vehicle and standing with his hands in the air, a Circleville police officer released the K9, which attacked Rose, biting and pulling him by the arm. Rose was eventually taken into custody, and it remains unclear if the officer will face disciplinary action. The incident is under investigation.
