Sidney Powell Pleads Guilty, Could Testify in Georgia Election Subversion Case

Former lawyer for Donald Trump, Sidney Powell, pleaded guilty to aiding Trump's efforts to overturn his election defeat in Georgia. She pleaded guilty to six counts of conspiracy and agreed to testify against Trump and other co-defendants if called upon. This is one of four criminal cases Trump is facing, and one of two specifically focused on his attempts to overturn the election. Powell's guilty plea is a victory for Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who now has the cooperation of a lawyer closely tied to Trump's efforts.
