Multiple Mega Millions Tickets Sold in Pennsylvania and New York Make Residents Millionaires

A Pennsylvania resident came close to winning the $1.2 billion Mega Millions jackpot but won $5 million instead by matching five out of six numbers. The winning ticket was purchased at Thorndale Inn in Downingtown and the winner opted for the Megaplier, increasing their prize from $1 million to $5 million. Another lucky winner purchased a $1 million-winning ticket from Nittany MinitMart in McKean County. The Mega Millions jackpot now stands at $1.05 billion ahead of the next drawing.
