D4vd Arrested in Hollywood Murder Case Involving Celeste Rivas Hernandez
TL;DR
Rising artist D4vd (David Burke, 21) was arrested by the LAPD Robbery-Homicide Division for the murder of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose dismembered body was found in the front trunk of a Tesla in Hollywood last September. Burke is held without bail and the case will be presented to the District Attorney for filing. Investigators noted a spring 2025 Santa Barbara-area trip after Hernandez’s death, and Burke was reportedly cooperative at first but later stopped. Hernandez had been missing from Lake Elsinore since 2024, and the car was registered to Burke in Hempstead, Texas.
