Go-Go's Guitarist Jane Wiedlin Accuses Influential DJ of Sexual Abuse

Jane Wiedlin, guitarist of the Go-Go's, has accused radio DJ Rodney Bingenheimer of sexually assaulting her when she was a teenager. In a Rolling Stone report, Wiedlin alleges that Bingenheimer isolated her in a back room of his club and rubbed his crotch against hers until he ejaculated. Four other women also shared similar experiences. Bingenheimer, who has not responded to the allegations, is an influential rock DJ and still hosts a radio show. Wiedlin expressed mixed feelings about his role in promoting the Go-Go's, stating that while he helped the band, he is also a "fucking monster."
