The long-awaited "final" Beatles song, Now and Then, featuring all four members, is set to be released next week thanks to AI technology. The song was written and sung by John Lennon in the late 1970s but was shelved due to technological limitations. Using AI-assisted software, the original audio was de-mixed from footage of the Beatles recording their final album, Let It Be, and Lennon's vocals and piano were isolated. Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr have added new parts to the song, which also features guitar parts by George Harrison and a string arrangement by McCartney, Giles Martin, and Ben Foster. The song will be released as a double A-side single with Love Me Do.
