Devastating Tornadoes Sweep Through 9 States, Leaving 26 Dead.

A powerful storm system caused severe thunderstorms and tornadoes across the US, resulting in at least 24 fatalities across seven states. Damage assessment is still ongoing, but dozens of locations in nine states have reported tornado damage. More than 730,000 customers in five states were experiencing power outages. The National Weather Service will be conducting storm surveys to investigate the damage and give a more definitive number of confirmed tornadoes.
