"Florida Governor DeSantis Declares Emergency as Storm Approaches"

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has declared a state of emergency for 33 counties along Florida's Gulf Coast as a potentially powerful storm, known as Invest 93-L, approaches. The storm is expected to strengthen into a depression as it moves over the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico next week. DeSantis urged residents to have a plan in place and prepare their hurricane supply kits. The storm is currently forecasted to make landfall in Florida's Panhandle.
