Thousands of people have been forced to evacuate seaside resorts in Greece as wildfires, fueled by high winds and extreme heat, spread through hillside scrub and pine forests. Evacuation orders were issued for at least six communities, and the army, police special forces, and volunteer rescuers have been assisting in the rescue efforts.
