Iceland is facing a challenging period as molten lava from a volcano in the southwest has destroyed homes in the town of Grindavik, prompting evacuations. The eruption, the second in less than a month, has led to the closure of the popular Blue Lagoon geothermal spa. While the eruption appears to be subsiding, the duration remains uncertain.
