"Massive California Wildfire Sparks Mass Evacuations Amidst Desert Winds"

A wildfire in Southern California, fueled by desert winds, has burned over 2,400 acres and led to evacuation orders for more than 4,000 people in Riverside County. The fire, known as the Highland Fire, grew rapidly due to Santa Ana winds and is currently 10% contained. Firefighters are battling the blaze on the ground while aircraft drop retardant. Mandatory evacuation orders are in place for over 1,200 homes and 4,200 residents, with additional evacuation warnings for over 1,100 homes and nearly 4,000 residents.
