Biden, who considers himself the most pro-union president, aims to show solidarity with the workers and support their fight for fair compensation and benefits. The strike, initiated after failed contract negotiations with Ford, General Motors, and Stellantis, has expanded to include 38 General Motors and Stellantis parts distribution centers across 20 states. However, positive contract talks with Ford have excluded them from the strike expansion.
