Biden's Personal Experience with Fire Fuels Commitment to Maui Wildfire Recovery
TL;DR
President Biden discussed the devastation caused by wildfires in Maui and shared a personal anecdote about a small kitchen fire that occurred nearly 20 years ago in his Delaware home, claiming that the house "almost collapsed." However, local fire officials stated that the fire was contained to the kitchen and was under control within 20 minutes. This is not the first time Biden has been criticized for embellishing personal stories, raising concerns about his credibility and mental fitness for office.
