Democrat Lawmaker Heckles Republican After Expulsion Vote

Rep. George Santos (R-NY) survived an effort to kick him out of Congress, but was heckled by fellow New York Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D) and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) after the vote. Bowman shouted taunts like “resign” and “kick him out” while Santos was speaking to reporters on the Capitol steps. Santos didn't stick around long once Bowman's shouting began. Republicans punted the motion to the Ethics Committee.
