Lindsey Graham have poured significant money into his South Carolina GOP primary to blunt a challenge from Mark Lynch, with polls suggesting he could miss the 50% threshold and trigger a June 23 runoff. Palmetto Action has spent about $3.2 million against Lynch, while Graham’s campaign and allied groups have spent over $18 million on ads. Lynch is largely self-funded, lending himself $5 million and raising about $606,000, with Lynch’s campaign spending around $4.6 million. The primary winner is expected to face Democrat Annie Andrews in November.
