Ivanka Trump Ordered to Testify in Father's Fraud Trial

Ivanka Trump has been ordered by a New York judge to testify in the civil fraud case against her father, Donald Trump, her brothers, and the Trump Organization. Defense attorneys argued that she shouldn't have to testify since she moved out of New York and left her Trump Organization job in 2017, but the judge ruled that she still had ties to businesses in New York and owned Manhattan apartments. The trial, brought by New York Attorney General Tish James, accuses the former president of overstating his wealth on financial statements. Ivanka Trump's testimony is scheduled for after November 1, pending any appeals.
