Mar-a-Lago Employee in Trump Probe Previously Received Target Letter in Classified Documents Investigation

Yuscil Taveras, a Mar-a-Lago employee responsible for surveillance cameras, received a target letter from federal prosecutors in the classified documents probe involving former President Donald Trump. Taveras met with investigators and provided information that contributed to the new allegations against Trump in the superseding indictment. Although not currently facing charges, Taveras is at the center of the accusations, including a conversation where a co-defendant asked about deleting security footage. Taveras changed lawyers due to a conflict of interest. Trump and another co-defendant have pleaded not guilty.
