Miami Mayor Francis Suarez Eyes 2024 Presidential Run with Super PAC Support

Miami GOP Mayor Francis Suarez has filed paperwork to join the Republican field for president, becoming the first Hispanic candidate to jump into the 2024 race. However, he faces tough competition from former President Donald Trump and Gov. Ron DeSantis, both from Florida. Suarez may also struggle to raise enough money to qualify for Republican debates and has acknowledged not voting for Trump in previous elections. He is scheduled to speak at the Reagan Library in California on Thursday night.
