"NY Republican Calls for Expulsion of Bowman for Fire Alarm Incident"

Republican Rep. Nicole Malliotakis has introduced a resolution to expel Democratic Rep. Jamaal Bowman for pulling a fire alarm before a House vote on funding the government. Malliotakis claims that Bowman's actions violated federal and local law and that he must be held accountable. Bowman maintains that pulling the fire alarm was an accident as he rushed to vote on the last-minute measure. The incident is currently under investigation by the U.S. Capitol Police.
