NYC Prepares for Potential Trump Arrest and Unrest.

The NYPD and US Secret Service are preparing for potential unrest in Manhattan after former President Donald Trump called for protests over his possible indictment this week. The FBI, state court officers, and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office have also been involved in security discussions. Trump urged his followers to “take our nation back” in light of his looming indictment, which is reportedly related to alleged hush money paid to porn star Stormy Daniels in the lead up to the 2016 election. The NYPD is expected to restrict vehicle access to the Manhattan courthouse and deploy officers inside and outside the building. Bragg’s office has not confirmed nor denied that an indictment is imminent.
