Political Feud Sparks Controversy Over Migrant Flights.

The Bexar county sheriff's office in Texas has recommended criminal charges against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis over flights he arranged to deport 49 South American migrants to Martha's Vineyard last year. The migrants were allegedly lured under false pretenses and officials in Martha's Vineyard were given no advance notice of their arrival. This comes after DeSantis flew a group of people seeking asylum to California, prompting Governor Gavin Newsom to threaten him with kidnapping charges. DeSantis has made immigration a central issue of his political career, signing a heavily criticized law in May that invalidates out-of-state drivers licenses issued to undocumented immigrants and requires companies to check employees' immigration status.
