Republican Lawmakers Clash Over Biden Impeachment Stance

Conservative Rep. Ken Buck is facing blowback from Republicans over his anti-impeachment stance against President Joe Biden. Buck's position on the House Judiciary Committee, his vocal opposition to the House GOP's investigative efforts, and his history of bucking his own party have made him a target in conservative circles. There is now an effort to find a candidate to mount a primary challenge against Buck in his solidly red district in eastern Colorado. Fellow Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has expressed frustration with Buck and questioned his ability to serve on the Judiciary panel and the GOP whip's team. Buck has taken his feud with Greene public, calling her impeachment comments "absurd." Despite the backlash, Buck's allies say he isn't afraid of a primary challenge and has beaten back opponents in the past.
