Trump Appeals $83 Million Defamation Verdict with $91 Million Bond

This comes after a federal jury previously awarded Carroll an additional $5 million in damages. The bond payment is equal to 110% of the judgment against him, and Trump has appealed the ruling to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit. These legal battles have contributed to financial turmoil for Trump, as he also faces a separate order to pay more than $450 million for fraud.
