Trump Co-Defendant Kenneth Chesebro Pleads Guilty in Georgia Case, Following Sidney Powell's Testimony

Kenneth Chesebro, a co-defendant with Sidney Powell in the Georgia election interference case against Donald Trump, has pleaded guilty to a felony charge. Chesebro's plea deal requires him to testify truthfully at the trials of other co-defendants, including Trump. This marks the third guilty plea in the case, putting more pressure on the former president. Chesebro was initially charged with seven counts related to a scheme to challenge Trump's electoral loss in swing states. The plea agreement dropped all charges except one count of conspiracy to file false documents. Chesebro will receive five years' probation, pay restitution, complete community service, and submit an apology letter to the court.
