Trump's Arrest and Indictment Fail to Dampen Supporters' Welcome in Florida
TL;DR
Daily Show correspondent Jordan Klepper mocked Rep. George Santos (R-NY) at a rally protesting ex-president Donald Trump's arrest, asking him about his volleyball career and whether he was bringing legitimacy to the process. Santos, an outspoken Trump supporter, has lied extensively about his personal backstory and resume, including fabrications regarding attending prestigious universities and having worked for major financial institutions. Klepper also probed whether Santos recently got a law degree and whether his public misrepresentations constitute criminal activity.
