Fatal Shooting in Fargo Leaves Officer and Suspect Dead, 2 Others Injured

One police officer was killed and two others were critically injured after a suspect opened fire on a busy street in Fargo, North Dakota. The suspect was shot and killed by Fargo police officers. A 25-year-old woman was also shot and seriously wounded. The officer who was killed was identified as 23-year-old Jake Wallin, while the two injured officers were identified as Andrew Dotas and Tyler Hawes. The suspect was identified as 37-year-old Mohamad Barakat. The motive for the shooting remains unknown.
