Bob Huggins Resigns as WVU Coach After DUI Arrest

Bob Huggins, former head coach of West Virginia University's men's basketball team, has resigned and retired effective immediately following his recent DUI arrest. Huggins apologized for his actions and stated that he plans to focus on his health and family. WVU President Gordon Gee and Vice President and Director of Athletics Wren Baker accepted his resignation and thanked him for his service to the university. Huggins was previously suspended and had his salary reduced for using a homophobic slur during an interview.
