Brooks Koepka wins the PGA Championship for the third time and his fifth major championship overall, beating Scottie Scheffler and Viktor Hovland by two strokes. Koepka had a four-shot lead after three straight birdies in the first four holes and held on despite challenges from Hovland and Scheffler on the back nine. This is also a historic victory for the LIV Golf League, the Saudi Arabian-financed circuit that reportedly paid him $100 million in guaranteed earnings to lure him away from the PGA Tour in June.
