TL;DR

The Arizona Diamondbacks defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 4-2 in Game 7 of the NL Championship Series to advance to their first World Series in 22 years. Corbin Carroll had a standout performance, going 3 for 4 with two RBIs and two runs scored. The Diamondbacks completed a comeback from an 0-2 deficit in the series and will face the Texas Rangers in an all-wild card World Series. The Phillies, who were one win away from another pennant, fell short and will have to reflect on missed opportunities.
