Hamilton edges out Verstappen for pole position in thrilling Hungarian GP qualifying

Lewis Hamilton snatched pole position from Max Verstappen by a mere 0.003 seconds in a thrilling qualifying session at the Hungarian Grand Prix. The qualifying format, which featured an alternative tyre allocation, resulted in a competitive session. Lando Norris briefly held the top spot before Verstappen set a blistering lap time. However, Hamilton managed to separate the two front-runners and secure his first pole position of the season. McLaren's Norris and Piastri impressed, securing the second row, while Zhou Guanyu and Alfa Romeo's Zhou Guanyu rounded out the top five.
