Referee Tyler Ford explained that Thompson and McDaniels were ejected because their altercation didn't immediately dissolve, while Draymond Green received a Flagrant 2 for aggressively putting Gobert in a headlock. Gobert was considered a peacemaker, and no other unsportsmanlike acts were observed. The Warriors, already without Steph Curry, lost their key players early in the game and ultimately fell short. Green could face a suspension for his actions.
