Patriots Reacquire CB J.C. Jackson in Desperate Trade with Chargers

The New England Patriots have reacquired cornerback J.C. Jackson from the Los Angeles Chargers in a trade. The Patriots are sending a 2025 sixth-round pick to the Chargers in exchange for Jackson and a 2025 seventh-round pick. To facilitate the trade, the teams are reworking Jackson's salary, with the Patriots covering a portion and the Chargers covering the rest in a signing bonus. Jackson, who had a successful stint with the Patriots before struggling with the Chargers, will have an opportunity to face his former team when the Patriots play the Chargers in December.
