Suns acquire Bradley Beal in trade with Wizards involving Chris Paul and Landry Shamet.

The Phoenix Suns have acquired All-Star guard Bradley Beal from the Washington Wizards in exchange for Chris Paul, Landry Shamet, at least four second-round picks, and multiple pick swaps. The Suns will also take on the final four years and $207 million of Beal's contract. Wizards officials would like to have Chris Paul on their team next season, but they would work with the Suns and the veteran guard to trade him if Paul prefers to play for a contender. Beal averaged 23.2 points, 5.4 assists, and 3.9 rebounds last season for Washington.
