Verstappen Dominates Abu Dhabi GP Qualifying, Hamilton and Sainz Out Early

Max Verstappen secured his fourth consecutive pole position at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, tying Nigel Mansell's career pole position record. Verstappen's pole-sitter advantage also extends to the last eight races at Yas Marina, the longest streak at any F1 venue. Charles Leclerc achieved his fifth consecutive front row start, while Oscar Piastri out-qualified Lando Norris for the first time. George Russell achieved his best-ever start at Yas Marina in fourth place, and Yuki Tsunoda secured his best career qualifying position in sixth. Lewis Hamilton failed to make Q3 for the second consecutive race, ending the season tied with his Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas in the qualifying head-to-head.
