Wake Forest smashes nine HRs to secure MCWS spot.

Wake Forest advances to the Men's College World Series for the first time since 1955 after hitting a record-tying nine home runs in their 22-5 win over Alabama. The Demon Deacons are the first No. 1 national seed to make it to the MCWS since 2018 and have won four tournament games by double digits. Virginia also clinched a spot in the MCWS, joining Wake Forest, Florida, and TCU in the eight-team field that begins play on Friday in Omaha, Nebraska.
