Yoshinobu Yamamoto: A Hot Commodity in MLB Free Agency

The Los Angeles Dodgers have met with free agent right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto, making them the sixth team to do so. Yamamoto, who is considered the best remaining free agent, is on a North American tour and has already met with the Mets, Giants, and Yankees. He is expected to command a contract worth around $300 million, in addition to a posting fee. The Dodgers, who recently signed Shohei Ohtani, are actively seeking rotation help and have shown interest in other Japanese pitcher Shota Imanaga as well.
