TL;DR

The Pixel 10 Pro's new Pro Res Zoom feature, which uses generative AI to enhance long-range zoom shots up to 100x, has shown early samples online that reveal significant limitations, including poor quality and distorted images at high zoom levels, despite some better results at lower zoom levels. Google claims the AI is optimized for landscapes and landmarks, but the initial results suggest it may not be a reliable solution for detailed zoom photography.
