Microsoft's Aggressive Tactics: Pushing Bing on Windows 11 Users with Malware-like Pop-ups

Microsoft has been displaying a new notification to Windows 10 and Windows 11 users, urging them to use the Bing search engine with Chrome, their default browser. This is the first example of an operating-system-level notification attempting to promote Bing in a third-party browser. The notification, which is not part of Windows' built-in notification system, runs as a separate executable file called "BGAupsell.exe" and is digitally signed by Microsoft. Microsoft has stated that this behavior was unintended and is currently under investigation.
