Ubuntu 23.10: Recalled ISOs, Minotaur Speed, Kubuntu Release, AMD RDNA3 Performance, and Download Issues
TL;DR
Canonical has recalled the ISOs for Ubuntu Desktop 23.10 shortly after release due to the discovery of hate speech in user-submitted translations for the Ubuntu installer. The translations, sourced from a third-party tool, contained offensive content. Canonical is working to re-spin the ISOs with corrected translations, and the affected images have been removed from download availability.
