HBO's Potter Series Unveils Expanded Wizarding World in New Trailer

A new trailer for HBO’s Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone TV series expands the Wizarding World with scenes not in the books (Ron’s Hogwarts letter, Hermione on the Hogwarts Express, Lily and James Potter’s romance) and a refreshed Hogwarts, while revisiting fan-favorites like Quidditch, the Mirror of Erised, and wizard chess; Voldemort is teased, shown only from behind. The cast includes Dominic McLaughlin as Harry and Paapa Essiedu as Snape, with J.K. Rowling and Brontë Film & TV’s Ruth Kenley-Letts among the executive producers. The series premieres on HBO Max this Christmas.
