"34 Bodies Removed from English Funeral Home, 2 Arrested for Fraud and Preventing Burial"

Police in northern England removed 34 bodies from a funeral home and arrested a man and woman on suspicion of fraud and preventing a lawful burial. The arrests followed a five-day investigation at three branches of Legacy Funeral Directors in Hull and East Yorkshire. The suspects, a 46-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman, were also accused of fraud by false representation and abuse of position. The police have been inundated with inquiries from families affected by the incident and are providing support through family liaison officers.
