Black Lives Matter Activist Convicted of Fraudulent Fundraising for Lavish Lifestyle

Xahra Saleem, a Black Lives Matter activist and director of the charity Changing Your Mindset, has been sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison for funneling tens of thousands of pounds in fundraising donations into her personal bank account. Saleem used the money to fund an expensive lifestyle, including purchases of an iPhone, beauty appointments, clothing, and taxis. She pleaded guilty to fraud and admitted to abusing her position as director. Saleem's actions led to the cessation of operations for Changing Your Mindset.
