"Disturbing Video Captures Brazilian Police Officer Fatally Shooting Wife in Domestic Dispute"

An off-duty Brazilian military police officer, Thiago de Lima, was caught on camera fatally shooting his wife, Erika de Lima, after physically assaulting her during a fight outside their car. The surveillance footage showed Thiago punching Erika multiple times before shooting her at least twice. He is now facing charges for feminicide, a homicide related to domestic and family violence. Erika had previously filed a police report about a domestic violence threat, but chose not to press charges. The victim leaves behind two daughters from a previous relationship.
