Former Principal Convicted of Rape and Indecent Assault.

Malka Leifer, former principal of Adass Israel School in Melbourne, has been found guilty of rape, indecent assault, and sexual penetration of a minor. She was cleared of all charges relating to a third sister. The incidents occurred while the sisters attended the school, at summer camps, and in Leifer's home. Leifer fled to Israel after the accusations and remained there until she was extradited back to Australia in January 2021. The sentencing will take place at the end of April.
