Kenya's Starvation Cult Death Toll Rises to 47 as Investigation Continues.

Kenyan authorities have exhumed dozens of bodies, mostly children, from a forest in southeast Kenya in what appears to be a religious starvation cult. At least 47 people have been confirmed dead, including 39 whose bodies were exhumed, while 28 people survived. The dead are believed to be worshipers of Paul Mackenzie’s Good News International Church. The pastor was arrested about a month ago on suspicion of involvement in the deaths of two children. His bail was revoked last week, Kenya News Agency reported, after 15 survivors were rescued on April 14.
