New trial ordered for American tourists in Italian police officer's death.

Italy's highest court has ordered a new trial for two American tourists, Finnegan Lee Elder and Gabriel Christian Natale-Hjorth, over the 2019 killing of a police officer in Rome. Elder was found guilty of murder, but the court ordered a new trial due to insufficiently corroborated allegations. Natale-Hjorth will stand trial again because there was not enough evidence of his complicity in the killing.
