A Polish woman, Julia Faustyna, who claimed on social media that she might be missing British toddler Madeleine McCann, has apologized to the McCann family after receiving DNA test results that showed she is not British. Faustyna had amassed tens of thousands of followers on her social media pages, claiming that details of her childhood did not add up, leading her to believe that she was abducted as a toddler. However, the DNA test results revealed that she is 100% Polish. Faustyna apologized for using the phrase "I am Madeleine McCann" instead of "Am I Madeleine McCann" and said her intention was to find out who she is and what happened in her past.
