Woman Arrives at Bank with Dead Uncle to Sign Loan, Taxi Driver Assists

A Brazilian woman, Érika de Souza Vieira Nunes, was caught on surveillance video arriving at a bank by taxi with her dead uncle in the front passenger seat, with the driver helping her move the corpse. She had taken her deceased uncle, Paulo Roberto Braga, to the bank to sign a loan in her name, claiming she didn't know he was dead. The autopsy revealed that Braga died from heart failure and aspiration of stomach contents. Nunes, facing charges of theft by fraud and desecration of a corpse, claimed to suffer from mental health issues and might have experienced a breakdown at the time.
