Uganda's Extreme Anti-LGBTQ Bill Sparks International Outrage.

Uganda's legislature has passed an anti-LGBTQ bill that prescribes harsh penalties, including death and life imprisonment for "aggravated homosexuality." The bill now goes to President Yoweri Museveni, who has 30 days to veto it or sign it into law. The United Nations rights chief and the White House have condemned the bill, with the U.N. high commissioner for human rights calling it "probably among the worst of its kind in the world." Human Rights Watch has also condemned the bill as a further violation of the basic human rights of Ugandans.
