Britons Evacuated from Sudan in Second Flight to Cyprus

A second RAF evacuation flight has landed in Cyprus carrying UK nationals from Sudan, with a further 39 passengers from an earlier rescue flight. The British troops are attempting to evacuate UK nationals during a 72-hour ceasefire. The Foreign Office has yet to confirm how many people made it on to the second plane, which arrived at Larnaca in the early hours of Wednesday. The evacuees will only be in Cyprus for less than 48 hours before they can take up the option of flying to the UK.
